The platform behind a lot of very small websites.
Smallfront builds and runs one page websites for small businesses. One file in, one site out, and then it's left alone.
It's designed for the sort of business that has never had a website and doesn't want a content management system: a plumber, a dog groomer, a driving instructor. No database, no plugins, no admin login, and nothing that needs updating on a Tuesday night.
It isn't sold on its own yet. The sites it builds are sold today by Dalaric, in Dorset, at £82.50 a year plus VAT.
If you run a small studio, I'd like to hear from you early
The thing being built is the ability to run a few hundred client sites without hiring anybody. If that's a problem you have, get in touch and I'll tell you honestly where it's up to, which today is earlier than you'd want.
